Turnout

Turnout started out as an experiment called Townie Records by philanthropist Brent Stiefel. With little experience in the music industry, he dipped his feet in for the first year, then took the full-on plunge into media management, capital investment, publishing and promotion, all within his sophomore year. Turnout (now Votiv) hired Train of Thought to design several logos and identities, as well as the Turnout website, all of which helped launch the label for success.

The client was so attached to the original Townie Records logo that when he decided to rename the label, he would only consider names which began with ‘T’, hence Turnout was born.
